Keith Sequeira is a former model and Radio Jockey, who later shot to fame as B4U’s popular VJ. He is a successful television actor who has done a very few Bollywood roles too. Among his TV roles, his role as officer Roy in Diya Aur Baati is most popular, followed by an antagonist role in Udaan and lead roles in Dekho Magar Pyaar Se and Love Ka Hai Intezaar. He was a contestant of Bigg Boss 9 during 2015-16, who got evicted on day 101, and he, along with his actress wife Rochelle Rao participated in Nach Baliye 9 in 2019. He belongs to a Christian family with Goan roots
Keith Sequeira was born in Delhi in 1980 to Goan parents. His father is a native of Aldona who left the place at a young age and got settled in Delhi, where Keith was born. He has done theater during his academic years. Keith completed a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Delhi, followed by a degree in fashion designing from the London College of Fashion. Once he returned after his studies, he started his career as an RJ for Times FM. He later started his career as a model, which gave him an early break into television, through which he established himself as a star anchor and VJ.
His entry into VJing was just a coincidence
When he was on a trip to Mumbai, one of his friends told him about the audition for a VJ for B4U Music. He attended the audition, and his ability to communicate better and fluency in speaking helped him to get through the auditions. For many years, he remained the top VJ and the face of B4U Music. He also anchored several lifestyle shows, which include AXN’s Men 2.0, VH1’s Club Class and Star Sports’ Super Fight League, and appeared in TV ads. He also hosted many live shows later.
He played the lead role in his debut TV soap, Dekho Magar Pyaar Se

In 2004, he marked his acting debut through Dekho Magar Pyaar Se, playing the lead role opposite Shraddha Nigam. However, he concentrated on his career as a VJ and anchor and returned to TV soaps only in 2013 through Diya Aur Baati Hum, playing a supporting role. Before that, he appeared in an episodic role in Teri Meri Love Stories in 2012 opposite Jennifer Winget. Since then, he has been active on the small screen through TV soaps as well as reality shows. He was a part of the show, Doli Armaano Ki.
He made an impressive Bollywood debut through ‘Sixteen’
He marked his big screen debut in 2013 through teenage drama, ‘Sixteen’, which received favourable reviews from critics. Keith played the lead role of a middle-aged writer on whom the teenager Wamiqa Gabbi develops a crush. His subtle strong performance in the movie earned him applause. His entry into this movie also happened by coincidence. The casting director of Sixteen approached him while he was seated in a restaurant, and after being impressed by the script, he accepted the role. He later acted in Calendar Girls (2015), a movie based on the modeling industry.
He was first married to Bollywood actress Samyukta Singh, who played the lead role in Salaami, released in 1994. They got married in 2005 and legally separated in 2011. He has been married to model-actress Rochelle Rao since 2018. They got married at Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu. The couple contested in Bigg Boss 9 in 2015-16, when they were dating. Later, they participated in Nach Baliye in 2019 as contestants and got eliminated in the first week.

1. Though he has Goan roots, he is not fluent in Konkani. In fact, he never lived in Goa, except for his visits to his hometown.

3. He was fondly called VJ Keith on the B4U music channel.
