Irachi Pathiri

Ingredients for Irachi Pathiri:
1. Meat – 300 gm
Red chilli powder – 1 small spoon
Fried masala powder – 1 small spoon
2. Ghee – 1 big spoon
Refined oil – 1 big spoon
3. Green chillies – 3
Ginger – 1 inch piece
Garlic – 8 cloves
4. Shallots – 6
Salt – For taste
5. Garam masala powder – 1/2 small spoon
6. Coriander leaves and curry leaves chopped – 1 small spoon each
7. Wheat powder – 1 glass
Maida – 1 glass
Salt – For taste
8. Oil – For frying
How to prepare Irachi Pathiri?
1. Mix ingredients no: 1 and cook well.
2. Later mince the meat.
3. Heat ghee and oil in pan, and sauté ingredients no: 3.
4. Add shallots and sauté till it turns soft.
5. Add a little salt.
6. When contents turn golden brown, add minced meat and garam masala powder.
7. Stir well and take off from flame.
8. Add curry leaves and coriander leaves. This is the filling used for Irachi Pathiri.
9. Mix ingredients no: 7 and knead the dough for poori.
10. Make small balls from dough and spread pooris.
11. Stuff each poori with a little filling and spread once again to round pooris.
12. Deep fry in hot oil.
