Green Mango Halwa - halwa recipes

Ingredients for Green Mango Halwa (Pacha Maanga Halwa):

1. Sour-less mango – 1 cut into small pieces after removing skin
2. Coconut water – From 1 coconut
    Maida – 1 big spoon
    Rice powder – 1 big spoon
    Rava – 2 big spoons
    Salt – A pinch
3. Jaggery solution – As per taste
    Ghee – 4 big spoons
    Cardamom powder – 1 small spoon
4. Dried coconut pieces – 1 big spoon
    Cashews broken – 1 big spoon

How to prepare Green Mango Halwa (Pacha Maanga Halwa)?

  1. Put mango pieces in a mixer, add a little water, and make a fine juice.
  2. Add ingredients no: 2 to it, mix well, and cook on a low flame.
  3. Add ingredients no: 3 to it, mix well, and continue cooking till the water content is fully absorbed.
  4. Add ingredients no: 4, mix well, and turn the flame off.
  5. Spread a little ghee in a flat container and transfer the mango halwa to it.
  6. Once the contents are cooled, place them in the refrigerator.
  7. You can also serve as such (without cooling).
