It’s most important to keep rooms neat and tidy. Once in a week, bed sheets and once in three days, clean the pillow covers.

1. Your lovable pet can also give you allergy problems. If possible, never allow them in your home interior. Similarly wool and woolen products or clothes made using the hair of animals can also lead to allergy.

2. Books, ornaments etc give sufficient space to micro organisms which cause allergy. Framed photographs, statues etc also come under this group, and can be avoided almost if you have allergy. Otherwise dust and other deposits behind these objects should be cleaned properly on regular basis.

3. Carpets can also invite dust allergy problems a lot. Use carpets in your interior only if you can properly clean and maintain them. Use a vacuum cleaner to clean these carpets while cleaning your room. Cloth carpets can be soaked in soap water and cleaned later.

Plants are better air purifiers than air filters. Take note: Place a layer of pebbles in the flowerpots on the top of soil.

7. Air fresheners, perfumed candles etc contain chemical elements., and hence not so healthy for frequent and regular use. You can use natural perfumes. Roll a little cotton to make a ball. Pour a little perfumed oil in it and place in an open pot or container. You can place such pots in different corners of your interior.

8. Personal hygiene is equally important. While you travel, many micro organisms which cause allergy may stick on to your cloth and hair. So, you should change your clothes and bath soon after you reach home. If so, such micro organisms never spread in your home.
