A comforting Dal Rice Soup recipe made with simple ingredients, fresh herbs, and gentle flavors — perfect for any season.

Ingredients for Dal Rice Soup:
1. Green gram dal – 5 tbsp, washed and drained
Water – 6 cups
Onion – 1 medium, finely chopped
Curry powder – 1 tsp
Salt – 2 tsp
Sugar – 1 tsp
2. Raw rice – 1/4 cup, washed and drained
3. Vinegar – 1 tsp
Parsley – 1 tbsp, finely chopped
Butter – 1/2 tbsp
How to prepare Dal Rice Soup?
1. Combine the ingredients listed under the first section and cook in a pressure cooker.
2. Once the pressure releases, strain the mixture and return it to the pan.
3. Add the rice and cook for 30 minutes. Add salt if required.
4. Add the third set of ingredients, and stir well.
5. Remove from heat just before boiling, and serve hot.
