Chilled Peas Soup
Ingredients for Chilled Peas Soup:
1. Green peas after removing skin – 150 gm
2. Potato pieces – 225 gm
3. Onions chopped – 1
4. Mint leaf – 1 big stalk
5. Lemon Skin – Half
6. Lemon juice – 2 big spoons
7. Chicken stock – 900 milli
8. Salt and pepper – As required
9. Puthina leaf – to decorate
How to prepare Chilled Peas Soup?
1. Take green peas and other ingredients in a sauce pan, and cook in medium flame for 20 minutes till peas are fully cooked.
2. Grind the contents well in a mixer, and allow it to cool.
3. Check if salt and pepper are added as required.
4. Place it in fridge for two-three hours. Decorate with pudina leaves and serve chilled.
N.B: You can also use chilled green peas for this preparation. It takes less time to cook. So add green peas only after 5-10 minutes, the other vegetables are cooked.
