Chicken – Basmati Rice Soup

Ingredients for Chicken – Basmati Rice Soup:

1. Butter – 2 big spoons

2. Onions chopped – ¼ cup

    Tomato – 1, chopped

    Garlic – 2 cloves, chopped

    Ginger chopped – 1 small spoon

    Cinnamon – 1 piece

    Cloves – 2

    Bay leaves (Vayana Ila) – 2

    Chilli powder – ¼ small spoon

    Turmeric powder – ¼ small spoon

    Salt – For taste

    Pepper powder – 1 small spoon

3. Chicken with bones – 200 gm

     Water – 3 cups

4. Coconut milk – ½ cup

    Rice flour – 1 big spoon

5. Lemon juice – 1 small spoon

6. Basmati rice cooked – 1 cup

How to prepare Chicken – Basmati Rice Soup?

1. Heat butter in pressure cooker and sauté ingredients no: 2.

2. Add chicken and water, and pressure cook the contents.

3. When pressure drops to zero, remove bones from chicken and tear it to small pieces.

4. Strain the remaining soup into pressure cooker.

5. Bring this soup to boil and add coconut milk mixed with rice flour.

6. Add chicken pieces too and stir the contents.

7. Before the soup thickens, put off the flame.

8. Pour your chicken soup to serving bowls and add lemon juice just before you serve.

9. Place cooked basmati rice in another bowl, and serve.

10. You can add rice to chicken soup and have it.
