Bonda with Stuffed Chutney
Ingredients for Bonda with Stuffed Chutney:
1. Potato – 2
2. Onions chopped fine – 2 big spoons
Salt – For taste
Pepper powder – As needed
3. Coconut scrapped – 1 cup
Chilli powder – 1 small spoon
Shallots -2
Salt – For taste
4. Egg – 1, beaten
5. Bread crumbs – As needed
6. Oil – for frying
How to prepare Bonda with Stuffed Chutney?
1. Boil potato, remove skin and smash it using a fork. Never make it a paste.
2. Add ingredients no: 2 to it and using the same fork, mix it.
3. Grind ingredients no: 3 without adding water and prepare chutney.
4. Make lemon-sized balls from potato, and stuff a little chutney in the mid-portion.
5. Wrap it fully and roll it to get round shape.
6. Continue the process for remaining potato and chutney.
7. Dip the balls in beaten egg and wrap with bread crumbs.
8. Deep fry your stuffed Bondas in hot oil, till they turn golden brown.
