Batata Besule
Ingredients for Batata Besule:
1. Potato cut into finger pieces and half-fried – 600 gm
2. Red chillies ground – 100 gm
Ginger-garlic paste – 4 small spoons
Salt – For taste
Corn flour – 1 big spoon
Gram flour – 2 small spoons
Rice flour – 2 small spoons
Curry leaves fried and powdered – 1/ 2 small spoon
3. Oil – For frying
4. Curry leaves – 10 nos.
Green chillies, end split – 3
5. Curd beaten – 1 big spoon
How to prepare Batata Besule?
1. Mix half-fried potatoes with ingredients no: 2 and a big spoon of water.
2. Heat oil and deep fry potato fingers till they turn golden brown.
3. Just before you take them from oil, add curry leaves and green chillies.
4. Drain excess oil and serve hot with curd or any sauce of your choice.
