Banana Cuts

Ingredients for Banana Cuts:

1. Kerala banana (Ethapazham) not over-ripen – 75 gm

2. Coconut scrapped – 10 gm

    Sugar – 30 gm

    Cardamom – 2, powdered

3. Bread crumbs – 20 gm

    Oil – For frying

How to prepare Banana Cuts?

1. Steam cook banana and smash it.

2. Make small balls from it.

3. Mix ingredients no: 2 in a dish. This is the filling.

4. Gently spread the banana balls and place a little filling.

5. Wrap it again, and spread to small cutlet shapes.

6. Coat each cutlet with a thin layer of bread crumbs.

7. Deep fry them in hot oil.

8. You can also shallow fry adding a little oil in a pan.

Note: You can substitute coconut with cooked green gram to make it a healthy dish.
