Aneesh Ravi is a star anchor of the Malayalam small screen. He is also a popular actor and theatre artist. He has been a part of several Malayalam soaps, of which his lead roles as village officer Mohanakrishnan of Karyam Nissaram and Kanakan of Aliyan VS Aliyan earned him a lot of appreciation. He also plays supporting roles on the Malayalam big screen. Yet he is best known as a television personality. As an amateur stage artist, he acted in plays such as Soothaputran, Over Bridge, Ravanaprabhu, etc.

Aneesh was initially an amateur theatre artist and mimicry performer before he forayed into television. In 1994, he won first prize in mimicry at Kerala University Youth Festival. Later he started his career as an amateur stage actor through Raghu’s Natakayogam. ‘Snehatheeram’ aired on Doordarshan, was his first TV show, and he has also appeared in Tamil soaps. Later, he became a successful TV anchor and host associated with cookery shows, reality shows, game shows and talk shows. In 2016, he moved to the production field, and Moonu Pennungal is his first show under the banner Varadayini Creations.
