Mutton Pachanam

Ingredients for Mutton Pachanam:

1. Mutton – 1 kg

2. Ginger – 20 gm chopped

   Green chillies – 20 gm chopped

   Garlic chopped – 1 big spoon

   Curry leaves – One stem

   Onion – 300 gram chopped

   Coriander powder – 25 gm

   Turmeric powder – 1 small spoon

   Coconut oil – 1 big spoon

   Salt – For taste

3. Water – As required

   Coriander leaves – 50 gm

   Ghee – 1 small spoon

   Shallots chopped – As required

How to prepare Mutton Pachanam?

1. Clean mutton and cut into 80-gram pieces each.

2. Marinate mutton using ingredients number 2.

3. Close it with a lid and allow it to rest for 10 minutes.

4. Add sufficient water to it and cook the mutton in low flame with lid closed.

5. Add a little water to the coriander leaves and boil it in low flame.

6. Make a fine paste of it and add to mutton.

7. Heat ghee in a pan and sauté shallots. Add this too mutton curry.
