End note: Real meaning of word ‘Marudhani’ is Henna. In this song, it’s used as a metaphor to show anger. Dipali is girl’s name and she is in angry mood. She is not understanding the real love of the hero, that’s all the song about, and someone trying to make her understand.

Trivia: This song was freshly tuned by Rahman while he reused a couple of compositions from Hindi movie, Meenaxi:A Tale of Three Cities – Chinnamma & Yeh Rista He was busy those days. Initially he was reluctant to accept the project. But when the director requested him to recycle a few of his tunes he composed for Bollywood, Rahman agreed.
