Crispy Fried Thilli Chicken
Ingredients for Crispy Fried Thilli Chicken:
1. Chicken leg – 6
2. Bread crumbs – 1 cup
3. Eggs – 2
4. Black sesame seeds – 2 tsp
5. Garlic paste – 2 tsp
6. White sesame seeds – 2 tsp
7. Chilli powder – 2 tsp
8. Lemon juice – 2 tsp
9. Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
10. Garam masala powder – ¼ tsp
11. Pepper powder – ½ tsp
12. Corn flour – 2 table spoons
How to prepare Crispy Fried Thilli Chicken?
1. Marinate chicken legs using lemon juice, chilli powder, garlic paste, turmeric powder and salt.
2. Allow it to rest for 4 hours or keep in refrigerator overnight.
3. Mix both type of sesame seeds, salt and pepper powder in bread crumbs.
4. Pour a little oil to the frying pan and slightly fry chicken pieces.
5. Marinate chicken pieces with cornflour powder.
6. Dip them in beaten eggs and coat in bread crumbs and allow to rest for 5 minutes.
7. Heat oil and deep fry chicken legs.
8. Serve hot with mint chutney or tomato sauce.
Note: Chicken legs are slightly fried in oil so that salt and pepper nicely blend with pieces. Never over fry.
