Fried Thilli Chicken recipe

Ingredients for Crispy Fried Thilli Chicken:

  1. Chicken leg – 6
  2. Bread crumbs – 1 cup
  3. Eggs – 2
  4. Black sesame seeds – 2 tsp
  5. Garlic paste – 2 tsp
  6. White sesame seeds – 2 tsp
  7. Chilli powder – 2 tsp
  8. Lemon juice – 2 tsp
  9. Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  10. Garam masala powder – ¼ tsp
  11. Pepper powder – ½ tsp
  12. Corn flour – 2 tablespoons

How to prepare Crispy Fried Thilli Chicken?

  1. Marinate chicken legs using lemon juice, chilli powder, garlic paste, turmeric powder and salt.
  2. Allow it to rest for 4 hours or keep it in the refrigerator overnight.
  3. Mix both types of sesame seeds, salt and pepper powder in bread crumbs.
  4. Pour a little oil into the frying pan and slightly fry the chicken pieces.
  5. Marinate chicken pieces with cornflour powder.
  6. Dip them in beaten eggs and coat them in bread crumbs, and allow them to rest for 5 minutes.
  7. Heat the oil and deep fry the chicken legs.
  8. Serve hot with mint chutney or tomato sauce.

Note: Chicken legs are slightly fried in oil so that salt and pepper blend well with the pieces. Never over-fry.
