
Ingredients for Crispy Fried Thilli Chicken:
- Chicken leg – 6
- Bread crumbs – 1 cup
- Eggs – 2
- Black sesame seeds – 2 tsp
- Garlic paste – 2 tsp
- White sesame seeds – 2 tsp
- Chilli powder – 2 tsp
- Lemon juice – 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Garam masala powder – ¼ tsp
- Pepper powder – ½ tsp
- Corn flour – 2 tablespoons
How to prepare Crispy Fried Thilli Chicken?
- Marinate chicken legs using lemon juice, chilli powder, garlic paste, turmeric powder and salt.
- Allow it to rest for 4 hours or keep it in the refrigerator overnight.
- Mix both types of sesame seeds, salt and pepper powder in bread crumbs.
- Pour a little oil into the frying pan and slightly fry the chicken pieces.
- Marinate chicken pieces with cornflour powder.
- Dip them in beaten eggs and coat them in bread crumbs, and allow them to rest for 5 minutes.
- Heat the oil and deep fry the chicken legs.
- Serve hot with mint chutney or tomato sauce.
Note: Chicken legs are slightly fried in oil so that salt and pepper blend well with the pieces. Never over-fry.
