Oats Healthy Bar
Ingredients for Oats Healthy Bar:
1. Oats – 2 cups
2. Almonds chopped – ½ cup
3. Raisins – ½ cup
4. Sesame – ¼ cup
5. Pumpkin seeds – 2 table spoons
6. Jaggery smashed – ½ cup
7. Ghee – 2 teaspoons
8. Water – ¼ cup
How to prepare Oats Healthy Bar?
1. Heat a thick bottomed pan and add oats to it.
2. When oats slightly change in colour, add broken almonds.
3. Fry the contents for 5 minutes in medium flame.
4. Add raisins and fry for two more minutes.
5. Add sesame seeds and keep frying till they start sputtering.
6. Add pumpkin seeds and allow to sputter. Keep frying.
7. Add scrapped jaggery and ghee, followed by ¼ cup water.
8. Keep stirring till jaggery melts completely.
9. Put off the flame and transfer the contents to a greased plate or butter paper.
10. Before it cools completely, cut the bar into desired shapes.
11. Serve the health bar when it cools completely.
12. You can also store them in an air-tight container for a few days.
Note: You can also use sunflower seeds along with pumpkin seeds.
