Sanah Moidutty – Playback singer of ‘Mohenjo Daro’ fame
Sanah Moidutty is an independent singer who also sings for Bollywood and regional language films. She sang the romantic duet Tu Hai with A. R. Rahman for Hrithik roshan starrer, Mohenjodaro which shot her to instant fame. Previously she worked with Rahman for Tamil film, 24. Afeemi from Meri Pyaari Bindu is yet another popular song of Sanah in Bollywood, which earned her “Best Singing Sensation” for at the Asia Vision Movie Awards 2017. She is of Kerala origin, brought up in Mumbai, and her renditions of Malayalam hit films like ‘Shyama Meghame Ne’ became popular.
Sanah Moidutty was born in 1991, and she is of Kerala origin. She trained in Carnatic music, Hindustani music and Western music under different gurus, and currently she sings both Indian classical and pop music. Started training in music at a tender age, she gave her first stage performance at the age of 7. As a playback singer she got her first break through Always Kabhi Kabhi in 2011, where she rendered her voice for its title track. She was spotted by the music director during a talent hunt show at her college. Moto Ghotalo from Gori Tere Pyar Mein was her second song, and both went unnoticed.
In 2014 she sang the cover versions of Kora Kagaz Tha and Duaa (Acoustic) for Sanam brand and both got noticed. In 2016 she sang three songs for Mohenjodaro – Title track, Tu Hai and Sindhu Maa, of which Tu Hai became immensely popular and gave her a big break in Bollywood. Her cover versions uploaded in YouTube are also popular, and she sings in more than 10 languages. She is regular with her stage performances too, and has collaborated with Sanam Band, Ash King and many other artists.

5. She was the first runner-up of Hindustan Times Voice of Mumbai in 2007.
