Dates Cake

Ingredients for Dates Cake:

1. Egg – 175 gm

    Sugar – 200 gm

2. Dates Syrup – 25 milli

    Dates (seedless) – 150 gm

3. Sunflower oil – 125 gm

    Ghee – 1/8th cup

    Caramel – 1 small spoon

4. Maida – 250 gm

    Vanilla powder – 1 small spoon

    Baking powder – 1 gm

How to prepare Dates Cake?

1. Pre-heat oven in 180 degree celsious.

2. Beat sugar and egg and mix well.

3. Make a fine paste of ingredients no: 2 and add to egg mixture. Mix the contents well.

4. Blend ingredients no: 4 and add to the above mixture to prepare the batter.

5. Put a butter paper in a cake tin and pour the batter.

6. Bake in the pre-heated oven for 40 minutes.

Dates Cake (Recipe 2)

Ingredients for Dates Cake (Recipe 2):

1. Dates – 500 gm

    Water – 1 cup

    Soda bicarbonate – ½ small spoon

2. Butter – 185 gm

    Sugar powdered – 1/3rd cup

3. Eggs – 3

4. Self-rising flour – 1.5 cups, blended

How to prepare Dates Cake (Recipe 2)?

1. Pre-heat oven in 180 degree celsious.

2. Mix ingredients no: 1 in a container and tightly close it. Keep it overnight.

3. Take a square cake pan of 19 cm area, grease it and put a butter paper.

4. Blend butter and sugar in a bowl till it turns soft.

5. Add egg after another and beat well.

6. Transfer the contents to a big bowl and add half quantity of self-rising flour.

7. Add half quantity of dates along with water and mix the contents well.

8. Add remaining self-rising flour and date mixture and mix the contents well.

9. Pour this batter into the cake pan and place it in pre-heated oven.

10. Bake the cake for 1.25 hours.

11. Once it is done, switch off the oven and keep it inside for 5 more minutes.

12. Transfer the cake to wire rack.

Note: To prepare self-rising flour, take maida and baking powder in the proportion 1 cup: 1.5 small spoons: 1/2 small spoon salt. Mix all these contents to prepare the flour.
