Vendakka – Thenga Nirachath (Okra with Coconut Filling)
Ingredients for Vendakka – Thenga Nirachath (Okra with Coconut Filling):
1. Tender okra – 10
2. Coconut scrapped – 25 gms
Garlic – 4 or 5 cloves
Bird eye chili (Kanthari) / green chillies – 2
Cumin – 1 small spoon
Turmeric powder – ¼ small spoon
3. Virgin coconut oil – 1big spoon
How to prepare Vendakka – Thenga Nirachath (Okra with Coconut Filling)?
1. Remove both the ends of okra and make a deep cut in the middle portion. Its end part should not break.
2. Crush ingredients no: 2 together and stuff your okras with it.
3. Heat oil in a tawa and fry okra till both sides are well cooked.
