Vazhuthananga Mezhukku Puratti recipe

Ingredients for Vazhuthananga Mezhukku Puratti (Egg Plant Dry Fry):

1. Brinjal (Green Vazhuthananga/Violet Kathirikka) – 1/4kg

2. Onion – 1

3. Green chillies – 4

4. Salt – As per taste

5. Oil – 2 big spoons

6. Pepper crushed – ½ small spoon

How to prepare Vazhuthananga Mezhukku Puratti (Egg Plant Dry Fry)?

1. Cut brinjal into thin, 1-inch pieces and put them in water for a while.

2. Heat oil and sauté onions and green chillies.

3. Add salt and brinjal and close the lid.

4. Cook till it’s well-cooked.

5. Sprinkle pepper and turn off the flame.
