Chakka Pori (Jackfruit Fry)

Ingredients for Chakka Pori:
1. Maida – ½ cup
Sugar – 2 big spoons
Turmeric powder – A pinch
Baking soda – A pinch
Water – As required
2. Jackfruit – 15
3. Coconut oil – For frying
How to prepare Chakka Pori?
1. Mix ingredients no: 1 to prepare the batter.
2. Heat oil in a pan.
3. Dip each jackfruit in the batter and fry in hot oil.
4. When one side is done flip once and cook the other side too.
5. Both sides should be golden brown.
6. Spread in tissue paper to absorb excess oil.
7. This snack is ideal during Vishu season as evening snack.
