Cashew - Rava Burfi recipe

 Ingredients for Cashew – Rava Burfi:

  1. Cashew nuts – 40 gm
  2. Rava powder – 100 gm
  3. Sugar – 450 gm
  4. Milk – ¼ litre
  5. Vanaspati – 200 gm
  6. Ghee – as needed
  7. Cardamom powder – as needed

How to prepare Cashew – Rava Burfi?

  1. Soak cashew nuts in milk for a while and grind them to a fine paste.
  2. Roast rava in vanaspathi.
  3. Heat the sugar in a pan. Allow it to boil and drain its impurities.
  4. Add cashew paste, rava, and cardamom powder and stir continuously.
  5. Add vanaspathi little by little and keep stirring.
  6. At last, when it becomes thick, add a little ghee.
  7. Apply a thin coating of ghee on a plate and spread this mixture on it.
  8. Before it cools, cut it into desired shapes. Serve hot or chilled as you please.
