Ritvik Arora – Hindi Television actor of Tu Aashiqui fame

Ritvik Arora is a popular Hindi television actor and model, best known for playing the lead role in his debut show, Tu Aashiqui. He received Best Debut of the Year (Male) award at Indian Television Academy Awards in 2018 and also earned a nomination in best actor category. He also won best debut (male) award at Zee Gold Awards. His pairing with Jannat Zubair Rahmani was well-appreciated and earned them a nomination at Boroplus Gold Awards 2018 in Best On Screen Jodi category. Ritvik bagged the supporting role of Kunal Rajvansh in Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke in 2019.

Ritvik Arora was born in Delhi in 1997. While at school, he once got opportunity to become the president of drama club. That’s how he got interested in acting. He received his first offer from television industry while doing his graduation in commerce at Delhi. He was chosen as Delhi Times Fresh Face of the Year in 2015, which helped him to bag TV role. He came to Mumbai in 2017, and appeared in two shows after that – Tu Aashiqui and Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke. He also joined theatre while at Mumbai, as he was serious about acting.

1. He believes himself to be an ambivert – a mixture of introvert and extrovert.

2. He was a school topper and brilliant student.

3. He was active in extra-curricular activities during his school days at St. Columbia School in Delhi and played basketball.

4. He graduated from Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, Delhi.

5. Initially he was trying to get into modelling and also gave a few auditions. Acting just came in without much expectation, and he accepted it.

6. His character in the debut show was inspired from Aditya Roy Kapoor’s character in Aashique 2.

7. He plays guitar, and dancing is also his hobby. He is a trained dancer and a member of Delhi-based dance troupe.

8. He is a foodie and loves North Indian food most.

9. He is not much in love with parties though he can stay awake whole night. He loves books a lot.

10. Because of his shy character, he never had any girlfriends. In fact he is scared to talk to girls.
