Post Workout Smoothie

Having post workout smoothie within 2 hours is really good. It can give you a refreshing feel and helps in muscle repairing and growth. For those going to gym for weight training, post workout meal is very important. Include protein and carbohydrate in the post workout meal. But everyone is hesitant to make some meal soon after workout. Making a healthy juice or smoothie is the best option and easy too. Here is one such easy smoothie which you can using banana and peanut butter.

Ingredients for Post Workout Smoothie:

1. Kerala banana (Big banana) – 1/2

2. Peanut butter – 1 big spoon

3. Milk – 2 cups

4. Honey – 1 big spoon

5. Almonds – 2 big spoons (soaked overnight and then removing outer skin)

6. Yogurt – Quarter cup

How to prepare Post Workout Smoothie?

1. Mix all ingredients together in a blender.

2. Transfer the smoothie into the serving glasses and put ice cubes.

3. You can also add broken nuts of your choice.
