Papaya Pickle

Ingredients for Papaya Pickle:

1. Oil – As required

2. Mustard – ½ small spoon

3. Ginger-garlic paste – 1 big spoon

4. Kashmiri chili powder – 2 big spoons

    Asafoetida powder – ¼ small spoon

    Fenugreek powder – ¼ small spoon

    Curry leaves – As needed

5. Green papaya (boiled with salt and turmeric powder, strained and dried under sun) – ½ cup

6. Vinegar – 1 big spoon

    Sugar – A pinch

How to prepare Papaya Pickle?

1. Heat a pan and sputter mustard seeds.

2. Add ginger-garlic paste, followed by ingredients no: 4 and sauté it.

3. Add dried papaya and sauté again.

4. Add vinegar and sugar and take your papaya pickle from flame.

5. When it cools completely, store them in glass containers.
