
Ingredients for Paneer Mango Payasam:
- Milk – ½ litre
- Lemon – 1
- Butter – 2 big spoons
- Mango fruit – 1 big, cut into small pieces after removing skin
- Sugar – 1.5 cups
- Milk – 1 litre
- Sago – ½ cup
- Cardamom powder – ½ small spoon
- Cashews – 10
How to prepare Paneer Mango Payasam?
- Boil half a litre of milk and add lemon juice.
- When milk splits, take it off the flame and stir continuously.
- Pour this milk into a cotton cloth, strain it and extract paneer.
- Wash paneer in cold water and drain the moisture completely.
- Heat the butter in a pan until it melts.
- Add the mango pieces and sauté well.
- Add a little sugar and mix well.
- In an urli, boil milk and cook sago in milk.
- Powder paneer and add to cooked sago. Stir continuously.
- When the milk thickens, add the remaining sugar and mix well.
- Turn off the flame and add cardamom powder.
- When the payasam cools off completely, add the mango mixture and stir well.
- Add fried cashews too.
