She also appeared in the highly acclaimed movie based on a time loop, Sambhavam Adhyayam Onnu, released alongside Prathichaya.
Neethu Krishna – Malayalam Actress who got a dream debut as Nivin Pauly’s female lead

Neethu Krishna hails from Malappuram district. Parappanangadi is her hometown. Her father, Somasundaran, is a gazette officer. Her mother, Kalpakavalli, is a bank manager. She has an elder brother, Navaneeth Krishna and sister-in-law, Aarathi.
Since childhood, Neethu dreamed about films. She was so addicted to films that, throughout her journey in the early morning to the nearby temples, her eyes always searched for film posters stick on to walls and other public places. As she had no film background, she had no idea how to reach the cinema industry.
Neethu Krishna is brilliant in academics, and she holds a BDS and a Post-Graduation in Psychology. Yet she chose a totally different path for her professional life. Initially, she was reluctant to pursue a film journey because of uncertainties. But when her Psychology professor, Ramesh Patni, motivated her, her mind finally got fixed on films.
She began her career as a voice artist
Her first job was as a voice artist. During the pandemic in 2020, she started posting reels and became interested in content creation. She got a good response for both dance and interview reels, which improved her self-confidence. She realised that social media can play a vital role in bringing out talents.
Short film – Mozhi was her first acting experience
After gaining recognition as a social media influencer, she appeared in a short film titled Mozhi. She joined hands with a few artists for Team Eureka and started creating content. As all the team members belonged to Malappuram, there was rapport among them. The strength of the team was three artists who dreamed about films only.
Her combo scenes with Devan gained instant popularity. So they started doing more reels together. Her journey with Team Eureka helped to get rid of the fear factor, and it gave her a lot of confidence, too. Interestingly, Neethu Krishna’s Prathichaya and Devan’s Vaazha 2 were released in theatres almost at the same time, and Vaazha 2 became Malayalam’s new industry hit.
Mollywood entry through a strong female character
She got her first break through an audition. Thus, she played the female lead, Rosa Jayadevan, in the political thriller, Prathichaya. Her first shot was with Balachandra Menon, and the movie was directed by B. Unnikrishnan.
