Wheat Rava – Milk Payasam (Sooji Rava – Paal Payasam/Broken Wheat Milk Payasam)

Ingredients for Wheat Rava – Milk Payasam (Sooji Rava – Paal Payasam/Broken Wheat Milk Payasam):

1. Wheat rava – 1 cup

2. Milk – 2 cups

    Water – 2 cups

3. Condensed milk – 1 tin

    Milk – 4 cups

    Water – 1 cup

    Sugar – 8 big spoons

    Cardamom crushed – ½ small spoon

    Saffron – A pinch

4. Rose water – 2 drops

    Salt – A pinch

8. Almonds / Cashews fried – To decorate

How to prepare Wheat Rava Milk Payasam (Sooji Rava – Paal Payasam/Broken Wheat Milk Payasam)?

1. Wash wheat rava and strain water content.

2. Add water and milk to wheat rava and boil the contents.

3. Keep stirring to avoid lumps.

4. Cook till wheat rava is fully cooked and put off the flame.

5. Mix ingredients no: 3 together and boil in a pan.

6. Add cooked wheat rava to it and keep stirring to avoid lumps.

7. When your payasam is boiled well, put off the flame.

8. When it completely cools off, add rose water and salt, and mix well.

9. Transfer your wheat rava payasam to a serving dish and decorate with fried almonds or cashews.
