Vikas Verma – Hindi film and television actor best known for negative roles

Vikas Verma is a TV actor turned Bollywood actor, best known for portraying grey shades and negative roles. Raabta, Shaandaar, Judwaa 2, Yaarian and Mom are some of his best works in Bollywood. His role as “Marshall and Captain Robert Hamilton” in periodic TV drama – Jhansi Ki Rani earned him a nomination at Indian Telly Awards for best negative role. He is a successful model who has appeared in the TV ads of Quickr, Set Wet Deo, Kit Kat etc in the recent times, apart from being a ramp model.

Vikas Verma hails from Kota, Rajasthan, and he was born in 1987. His professional career began as a model in 2009 before moving to acting roles in TV shows and movies. After winning the title of India’s Fashion Star 2009 on Zoom TV, he shot to fame. In 2009 he marked his TV debut with Jhansi Ki Rani. As a Bollywood actor, he was first seen in the promotional video song “Pyaar ki Pungi” of Agent Vinod. He played the negative character Mike in 2014 Bollywood film Yaariyan, marking his big screen debut. His role as a rapist in Sridevi starrer Mom also got noticed. He plays parallel lead in Sunny Leone starrer Yaaron Ki Baraat.

1. He completed graduation in Physiology from Udaipur.

2. He was featured in the chartbuster music video of Nooran Sisters titled ‘Mai Yaar Da Deewana’.

3. He was seen as Kriti Sanon’s ex-boyfriend Maanav in Raabta.

4. He played the negative role of a British cop in Punjabi movie Kirpaan: The Sword of Honour.
