Sakshi Chaudhary – Model and South Indian Film Actress
Sakshi Chaudhary is an Indian model and actress who works in south Indian film industry. Mostly known for her glamorous roles, she won the prestigious Gladrags Megamodel Contest in 2011, which gave her early break to films. Telugu movie Potugadu (2013) marked her acting debut in a lead role, and later appeared in a dozen of movies belonging to Tamil, Kannada and Telugu languages. In 2019 she made an impressive and sizzling appearance in Tamil horror thriller, Iruttu, where she played the wife of lead hero Sundar C.
She started her career as a model
Sakshi Chaudhary was born in 1991 in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. She came to limelight after she won Gladrags Megamodel Contest in 2011. Her debut film, Potugadu (2013) opposite Manoj Manchu was a commercial hit. Later she appeared in Telugu films – James Bond, Selfie Raja, Magnet, U. Pe. Ku. Ha and Telugu-Kannada bilingual, Suvarna Sundari. She did item numbers for Telugu movie – Oxygen and Kannada movie – Rustum.
Aayirathil Iruvar in 2017 marked her Tamil debut, where she was featured aside two newcomers, Swasthika and Kesha Khambhati. The movie had a delayed release and was a commercial failure. In 2019 she received rave reviews for her lead role in Tamil horror flick, Iruttu.
Sakshi Chaudhary – Some interesting and less-known facts
1. In 2013 she signed a three-film deal with Bollywood filmmaker Firoz Nadiadwala, and was to star opposite John Abraham in Hera Pheri 3 and also 67 Days for the production house. But the project has not been flagged off till now. Otherwise she would have already joined Bollywood.
2. There were speculations that she would appear in the sequel of Bollywood flick – Julie. But the project didn’t materialize.
