Gayathri Arun – Malayalam television actress of ‘Parasparam’ fame

Gayathri Arun is a budding television actress associated with Malayalam television industry. She played the lead character, Deepthi Sooraj IPS in the popular daily soap, Parasparam, which shot her to instant fame. She has a huge fan following crowd post the success of the show, which was a remake of popular Hindi show, Diya Aur Baati Hum. The show was aired on Asianet during 2013 – 2018, and she was paired with Vivek Gopan. Gayathri has played brief roles in Malayalam silver screen.

Gayathri Arun hails from Alappuzha, Kerala. She studied journalism. Her husband Arun works in a private company and the couple has one daughter. She made her acting debut through TV series, Parasparam in 2013 and the show shot her to instant fame. She played the first daughter-in-law of the family in the popular series. The beloved cop of Malayalam small screen broke soap stereotypes through this single role. She made her big screen debut with 2017 Malayalam film, Sarvopari Palakkaran, where she played a cop. Her character name was Chandra Sivakumar, Thrissur City Police Commissioner.

2. She came to limelight after she hit back at a person who tried to lure her for sleep with him for a night, offering 2 lakh rupees.
