Cucumber Kichadi (Vellarikka Kichadi)

Ingredients for Cucumber Kichadi (Vellarikka Kichadi):

1. Cucumber chopped fine – 1 cup

2. Green chillies – 4, chopped

    Salt – For taste

3. Coconut scrapped – ¼ cup

    Cumin seeds – ½ small spoon

    Green chillies – 3

4. Mustard – ½ small spoon

5. Curd – 1 cup, beaten

6. Coconut oil – ½ big spoon

7. Mustard – ½ small spoon

    Red chillies – 3 or 4

    Curry leaves – 1 stem

How to prepare Cucumber Kichadi (Vellarikka Kichadi)?

1. Cook cucumber adding green chillies, salt and sufficient water.

2. Make a fine paste of ingredients no: 3.

3. Crush mustard along with it, and this gravy to cooked cucumber.

4. When it boils and water content is almost absorbed, add curd.

5. When it’s heated (never allow to boil), put the flame off.

6. Heat oil and fry ingredients no: 7.

7. Add this to your cucumber pachadi and serve.
