Mixed Dal Curry

Ingredients for Mixed Dal Curry:

1. Toor dal – 3/4 cup

2. Black gram dal – 1/4 cup

3. Bengal gram – 2 big spoons

4. Cumin seeds – 1/2 small spoon

5. Ginger-garlic paste – 1 big spoon

6. Shallots – Half cup, chopped fine

7. Green chilli – 1, chopped fine

8. Turmeric powder – 1/4 small spoon

9. Chilli powder – 3/4 small spoon

10. Garam Masala – 1/2 small spoon

11. Tomato chopped – 3/4 cup

12. Salt – For taste

13. Ghee – 1 small spoon

How to prepare Mixed Dal Curry?

1. Wash all dals and cook in a pressure cooker adding three cups of water. Cook for three or four whistles.

2. Heat oil in pan and fry cumin seeds.

3. Add ginger-garlic paste and saute it.

4. Add chopped shallots and chopped green chilli and saute well.

5. Add the curry powders and fry it till raw smell goes out.

6. Add tomato and salt, and saute well.

7. Add the cooked dal and mix the contents well.

8. Bring your dal curry to boil, and add chopped coriander leaves and ghee.
