Lemon Chicken
Lemon Juice is abundant in Vitamin C and antioxidants. So it can be regularly included in your diet. Lemon juice has the magical power to reduce the calorie of intake food. You can also include lemon juice and garlic in your meals if you are suffering from cold and fever. Both help to improve your body health. So, why can’t we make our chicken curry with lemon as one of its main ingredients?
Ingredients for Lemon Chicken:
1. Chicken – 1 kg
2. Smoked paprika – As required
Thyme – 1.5 small spoons
3. Butter – As required
4. Ginger-garlic paste – 1.5 small spoon
5. Lemon juice – From 1 lemon
6. Fresh cream – 1 cup
7. Parmesan cheese grated – ½ cup
8. Palak – 1 bundle, chopped
Pepper powder – 1 small spoon
9. Chicken stock – 1 cup
How to prepare Lemon Chicken?
1. Add thyme and smoked paprika to chicken pieces.
2. Marinate chicken and allow it to rest for 15 minutes.
3. Heat butter in a pan and deep fry chicken (half-cooked).
4. In the remaining butter, sauté ginger-garlic paste.
5. Add lemon juice followed by fresh cream.
6. Add cheese grated, palak, pepper powder and salt and saute the contents.
7. When it’s done, add stock and boil the contents.
8. Add fried chicken pieces to it and cook it well.
Note: You can substitute 1 small each of pepper powder, chilli powder and rock salt. If you are using fresh thyme for the preparation, crush it once and add while frying chicken. You can substitute chicken stock with 2 or 3 cubes of chicken stock. Boil well in water before you use.
