Kothu Chapati

Ingredients for Kothu Chapati:

1. Oil – 1 big spoon

2. Onions – 1 small, cut into square pieces

    Green chillies – Three or four, chopped into small pieces

    Ginger chopped into small pieces – Half small spoon

    Garlic chopped into small pieces – Half small spoon

3. Coriander powder – Half small spoon

    Chilli powder – Half small spoon

4. Tomato sauce – One big spoon

    Green chilli sauce – 1 small spoon

    Salt – For taste

5. Leftover chapati or parota – 6 to 8

6. Water – Quarter cup

7. Coriander leaves – To decorate

How to prepare Kothu Chapati?

1. Heat oil in a pan and saute ingredients 2.

2. When onion turns light brown, and coriander powder and chilli powder and saute again.

3. Add ingredients 4, and saute for a few minutes.

4. Add chapati or parotta torn into pieces, and mix well.

5. Add 1/4 cup water and mix the contents again.

6. Keep the flame in high and cook until water content is full absorbed.

7. Decorate with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.

Note: You can serve it as a main dish and even add a side dish if you want.
