Easily digestible arrowroot is an energy-giver too. It reduces stomach pain and diarrhea and balances Pita Dosha. Koova Kaachiyath is an easy dish that you can prepare at home in a few minutes. For kids, sugar/jaggery can be added as a tastemaker, and for adults, salt is better.

Ingredients for Koova Kaachiyath:
1. Arrowroot powder – Two tablespoons
Water – Quarter cup
2. Water – Quarter cup
Coconut milk – Half cup
3. Salt or jaggery – As required/for taste
How to prepare Koova Kaachiyath?
1. Mix the arrowroot powder with water without forming lumps.
2. Transfer this to a pot, add the quarter cup of water and coconut milk each and place on low flame
3. Keep stirring continuously.
4. When arrowroot thickens slightly and reaches the desired consistency, add salt or jaggery and serve.
