Irachi Puzhukk

Ingredients for Irachi Puzhukk:

1. Mutton – 300 gram, cut into pieces

2. Chilli powder – 2 small spoons

   Coriander powder – 2 small spoons

   Turmeric powder – 1 small spoon

    Salt – For taste

3. Elephant yam – 1/4 kilo

    Colocasia – 1/4 kilo

    Tapioca – 1/4 kilo

    Small potato – 1/4 kilo

    Purple yam (Kaachil Kizhang) – 1/4 kilo

4. Turmeric powder – 1 small spoon

    Salt – For taste

5. Coconut scrapped – 1

    Cumin seeds – 2 small spoons

    Green chillies – 10 grams

6. Coconut oil – 1 big spoon

7. Mustard – 1 small spoon

    Red Chillies – 4

   Curry leaves – 2 stem

How to prepare Irachi Puzhukk?

1. Cook mutton in cooker adding ingredients number 2. Use low flame while cooking.

2. Cut ingredients number 3 into small pieces and cook it adding salt and turmeric powder.

3. Crush ingredients number 5 and add to it followed by cooked mutton.

4. Cook for a few minutes and put off the flame.

5. Heat oil in a pan and sauté ingredients 7.

6. Added to puzhuku and mix well.
