Trikatu laddu is excellent for balancing kapha and vata doshas and for increasing immunity. Since it contains ingredients that generate heat in the body, it helps your body warm as well. It can also be used to prepare a medicinal drink (kashayam) for cold and fever by adding it to water along with coffee powder and boiling it.

Trikatu Laddu

Ingredients for Trikatu Laddu:

1. Roasted rice flour – Half cup

    Dry ginger powder – One tsp

    Pepper powder – One tsp

    Long pepper powder (Thippali powder) – One tsp

    Cardamom powder – Half tsp

    Cumin powder – Half tsp

2. Jaggery – 300 g, melted

  Ghee – Four tablespoons

How to prepare Trikatu Laddu?

1. Mix all the ingredients listed in section one thoroughly.

2. Add the hot jaggery syrup and ghee, combine well, and roll into small balls.

Note: Prepare the balls before the mixture completely cools. Then it will be easy to make balls.
