Ingredients for Dates-Roti Madakk:
- Dates chopped after removing seeds – ¼ kg
- Cashew chopped – ¼ cup
- Coconut grated – ½ cup
- Ghee – 1 big spoon
- Bread pieces – 10
- Oil – to fry
How to prepare Dates-Roti Madakk?
- Heat ghee in a pan and add coconut and sugar. Fry till light brown.
- Add dates and cashew, stir well, and turn the flame off.
- Cut the edges of roti pieces, apply a little water, and press once. Edges will be sealed.
- Take each bread piece and fill it with the fried mixture. Roll and cover it well, and fry in hot oil.
- Do the same procedure for each bread piece.
