Dates-Roti Madakk recipe

Ingredients for Dates-Roti Madakk:

  1. Dates chopped after removing seeds – ¼ kg
  2. Cashew chopped – ¼ cup
  3. Coconut grated – ½ cup
  4. Ghee – 1 big spoon
  5. Bread pieces – 10
  6. Oil – to fry

How to prepare Dates-Roti Madakk?

  1. Heat ghee in a pan and add coconut and sugar. Fry till light brown.
  2. Add dates and cashew, stir well, and turn the flame off.
  3. Cut the edges of roti pieces, apply a little water, and press once. Edges will be sealed.
  4. Take each bread piece and fill it with the fried mixture. Roll and cover it well, and fry in hot oil.
  5. Do the same procedure for each bread piece.
