
Ingredients for Chakka Pradhaman (Jackfruit Pradhaman):
1. Raw jackfruit – 25 Bulbs
2. Ghee – 3 Large spoons
3. Cashew nuts – 25 Grams
Raisins – 25 Grams
4. Coconut milk – 1 Liter
5. Jaggery – 8 Blocks (adjust according to the sweetness of jackfruit)
Water – Half glass
6. Brown rice (Kuthari) – 1 Handful, roasted and powdered
7. Cardamom powder – Half small spoon
How to prepare Chakka Pradhaman (Jackfruit Pradhaman)?
1. Cut and clean the jackfruit, then slice it into two or three pieces.
2. Fry cashew nuts and raisins in ghee and keep them aside.
3. In the same ghee, add the jackfruit pieces and sauté well.
4. Pour in the coconut milk and let it boil.
5. When the jackfruit is well cooked, add the melted and filtered jaggery syrup and stir continuously.
6. Once it boils, add the roasted rice powder and continue stirring until it thickens.
7. Finally, add the cardamom powder along with the fried cashew nuts and raisins, and serve.
