Broccoli and Zucchini Koottucurry

Ingredients for Broccoli and Zucchini Koottucurry:

1. Coconut scrapped – 1/4 cup

    Green chillies – 2

    Garlic – 2 cloves

    Cumin seeds – ½ small spoon

    Water – A little

2. Green gram dal – ½ cup

    Salt – For taste

    Turmeric powder – ¼ small spoon

3. Broccoli – 1 small (separate the flowerets)

    Zucchini – 1 small, cut into pieces

4. Oil – As required

5. Red chillies – 2, broken

    Mustard – ½ small spoon

    Curry leaves – A little

    Shallots – 5, chopped

How to prepare Broccoli and Zucchini Koottucurry?

1. Make a paste of ingredients no: 1 adding sufficient water. Add less water and coconut paste should be thick.

2. Cook ingredients no: 2 in a pan, adding 1 cup water.

3. Cook zucchini and broccoli in a separate pan as well.

4. Heat oil in a pan and temper ingredients no: 5.

5. Add cooked dal and coconut mixture to it.

6. Add half cup water and continue cooking till it turns thick in consistency.

7. Finally add cooked zucchini and broccoli, and cook for 1 more minute.

8. Put off the flame and serve hot.
