Al Faham
Ingredients for Al Faham:
1. Chicken – 500 gm
2. Coriander – 1 small spoon
Pepper – 1 small spoon
Cumin – 1 small spoon
Red chillies – 4
Cinnamon – 1 small piece
3. Garlic – 10 cloves
Ginger – 1 small piece
Coriander leaves – A handful
Mint leaves – 10 leaves
Curd – 2 big spoons
Kasuri methi – 1 small spoon
Chicken cube – 1
Salt – As per taste
Kashmiri chilli powder – ½ to 1 small spoon
For Peri Peri sauce:
4. Oil – 1 small spoon
5. Tomato sauce – 2 big spoons
Soya sauce – 1 small spoon
Honey – 1 small spoon
Crushed chillies – 1 big spoon
Salt – As per taste
How to prepare Al Faham?
1. Clean chicken and cut into big pieces.
2. Dry fry ingredients no: 2 (without oil) and grind it to get a fine powder.
3. Make a fine paste of ingredients no: 3.
4. Add masala powder to it and mix well.
5. Marinate chicken using this mixture and keep it in refrigerator overnight.
6. To prepare Peri-peri sauce, heat oil and add ingredients no: 5.
7. Cook for a few minutes and keep aside.
8. Take chicken from refrigerator and grill it.
9. Apply peri peri sauce to grilled chicken and fry it in tawa.
10. To get restaurant look, you can add a little food colour to masala before marinating.
11. Serve Al Faham with Bread/ Kuboos /Mayonnaise.
