Coconut Ladoo

Ingredients for Coconut Ladoo:

1. Scrapped coconut – 2 cups

2. Milk – ½ cup

    Sugar – 1 cup

3. Ghee – 1 big spoon

    Milk powder – ½ cup

    Cardamom powder – A pinch, optional

    Cashews – 8, broken into 2 halves

    Raisins – 6 or 7

4. Desiccated coconut – As needed

How to prepare Coconut Ladoo?

1. Heat a non-stick pan and add coconut.

2. Reduce the flame and fry coconut for 5 minutes slightly. It should not turn crispy.

3. Add milk and sugar to it and keep stirring until sugar dissolves completely. It can take upto 8 minutes.

4. Add ingredients no: 3, mix well and put off the flame.

5. Allow the coconut mixture to cool for 5 minutes.

6. Grease your hands with a little ghee and make ladoos.

7. Roll them in desiccated coconut and serve.
