Coconut Fruit Nut Roll

Ingredients for Coconut Fruit Nut Roll:

1. Coconut scrapped – 2 cups

    Sugar – 1.5 cups

    Water – 1 big spoon

2. Light food colour of your choice – 1 drop

    Milk – 1 big spoon

    Vanilla essence – ½ small spoon

3. Dates chopped fine – ½ cup

    Cashews chopped fine – ½ cup

    Milk powder – ½ cup

How to prepare Coconut Fruit Nut Roll?

1. Mix ingredients no: 1 together in a pan and heat. Keep stirring.

2. When it turns thin thread like and sticky, add ingredients no: 2.

3. Mix the contents well and take from flame.

4. Add ingredients no: 3 and mix again.

5. Transfer the contents to an aluminium foil, spread it and roll it to a log like structure.

6. Wrap it fully with that aluminium foil and allow to cool off completely.

7. Remove the foil and chop the roll into slices of 1-inch thickness each.
