Kurkuri Bhindi (Crispy Okra)
Ingredients for Kurkuri Bhindi (Crispy Okra):
1. Small Okra – ¼ kg
2. Ginger-garlic paste – 2 big spoons
Salt – For taste
Vinegar – 2 big spoons
3. Cumin seeds crushed – 1 small spoon
Coriander seeds crushed – 1 big spoon
Red chillies crushed – 2 big spoons
4. Oil – As required
5. Gram flour – 1 cup
6. Chat Masala – ½ small spoon
Coriander leaves chopped – 1 big spoon
7. Onion chopped as rings and lemon pieces – To decorate
How to prepare Kurkuri Bhindi (Crispy Okra)?
1. Wash okras, completely remove moisture content using a cloth and cut into ½ inch pieces.
2. Marinate okra using ingredients no: 2.
3. Add ingredients no: 3 also, toss well and allow to rest for 15 minutes.
4. Heat oil in a pan.
5. Sprinkle gram flour on marinated okra pieces and mix well.
6. Deep fry them in hot oil.
7. Finally sprinkle chat masala and coriander leaves.
8. Decorate using onion rings and lemon pieces and serve.
