Sukh Sanghera – Punjabi director who shot more than 300 music videos

Sukh Sanghera is a Punjabi music video director turned film director. He owns more than 300 Punjabi music videos to his credit since 2010. He launched an entertainment company 10+1 Creations Limited with a group of friends in 2010 and has also worked as a model for 70 music videos during initial days. His professional career was based in Canada, owns a Canadian citizenship and in 2018 he moved back to India. He marked his directorial debut with Laiye Je Yaarian in 2019. He is quite popular amongst NRI youngsters.

Sukh Sanghera was born in Buzrag village of Ludhiana district. He moved to Canada in 2007, where he stayed for 11 years. He had a brief stint in trucking business in Canada before he pursued a career in the field of Punjabi entertainment. He turned a part-time model and also learnt photography. When a friend asked him if he can shoot a music video, he said yes though he didn’t have any experience. Later he learnt through YouTube videos, and also formed a company, 10+1 Creations Limited. He established himself as a successful video director before he moved back to India in 2018. Diary sung by Amrinder Gill is one of his popular music videos, which bagged him PTC Punjabi Music Awards.

Sukh Sanghera – Some interesting and less-known facts

1. He holds a graduation in mechanical engineering.

2. He joined film industry as a line producer in 2016 and later worked as an assistant director before directing Laiye Je Yaarian in 2019.

3. Amrinder Gill’s Pendu and Diary, Gurnam Bhullar’s Diamond, Amrit Mann’s Kaali Camaro and Guerilla war, Sharry Mann’s Sohne Mukhde etc are some of his popular music videos.

4. He is a self-taught video director, editor and cinematographer.
