Strawberry Mousse

Ingredients for Strawberry Mousse:

1. Strawberry – 300 grams

2. Water – 3 tablespoons

3. Gelatin – 5 teaspoons

4. Egg yolks – From 2 eggs

5. Cornflour – 2 tablespoons

6. Milk – 150 ml

   Thick cream – 150 ml

   Powdered sugar – 100 grams

7. Egg whites – From 2 eggs

8. Strawberries – For garnish

How to prepare Strawberry Mousse?

1. Blend the strawberries and keep aside.

2. In a small bowl, pour water and sprinkle gelatine over it. Let it soak.

3. In another bowl, whisk together egg yolks and cornflour using a wooden spoon.

4. Add the sixth set of ingredients (milk, thick cream, and powdered sugar) to it and whisk well.

5. Place the bowl over boiling water and cook using the double boiling method while continuously stirring.

6. When the mixture thickens, add the soaked gelatine and mix well. Then add the blended strawberry and stir thoroughly.

7. Beat the egg whites until soft peaks form. Add one-fourth of the beaten egg whites to the strawberry mixture and fold gently.

8. Add the remaining egg whites gradually and mix until well combined.

9. Pour into seven small bowls or one large bowl and refrigerate to set.

10. Once well chilled, decorate with strawberries and serve.
