Ragi – Moringa Ila Ada (Finger Millet-Drumstick Leaves Ada)

Ingredients for Ragi – Moringa Ila Ada (Finger Millet-Drumstick Leaves Ada):

1. Ragi flour – 1 cup

    Rice flour – 2 big spoons

    Salt – For taste

2. Shallots chopped – ½ cup

    Cumin seeds – 1 small spoon

    Ginger chopped – 1 small spoon

    Coconut scrapped – ¼ cup

    Green chillies – 2, chopped

    Sesame seeds – 1 small spoon

    Moringa leaves – 1 cup

3. Water – ½ cup

4. Sesame oil – 3 big spoons

5. Banana leaf piece – 1

How to prepare Ragi – Moringa Ila Ada (Finger Millet-Drumstick Leaves Ada)?

1. In a big container, mix ragi flour, rice flour and salt.

2. Add ingredients no: 2 to it and mix well.

3. Add water and mix the ingredients well.

4. Make small balls from the mixture.

5. Grease the banana leaf and your palm with a little oil and spread one ball to get round shape.

6. Apply a little more oil on either side.

7. Heat a tawa and flip the ada on it along with banana leaf.

8. Remove the leaf and cook the ada.

9. Flip both sides and cook till your ragi-moringa leaves ada turns crispy.

10. Continue the process for remaining balls.

11. Serve hot with chutney of your choice.
