Ingredients for Ragi – Moringa Ila Ada (Finger Millet-Moringa Leaves Ada):
- Ragi flour – 1 cup
Rice flour – 2 big spoons
Salt – For taste - Shallots chopped – ½ cup
Cumin seeds – 1 small spoon
Ginger chopped – 1 small spoon
Coconut scraped – ¼ cup
Green chillies – 2, chopped
Sesame seeds – 1 small spoon
Moringa leaves – 1 cup - Water – ½ cup
- Sesame oil – 3 big spoons
- Banana leaf piece – 1
How to prepare Ragi – Moringa Ila Ada (Finger Millet-Moringa Leaves Ada)?
- In a big container, mix ragi flour, rice flour, and salt.
- Add ingredients no: 2 to the mixture and mix well.
- Add water and mix the ingredients well.
- Make small balls from the mixture.
- Grease the banana leaf and your palm with a little oil and spread one ball to get a round shape.
- Apply a little more oil on either side.
- Heat a tawa and flip the ada along with the banana leaf.
- Remove the leaf and cook the ada.
- Flip both sides and cook till your ragi-moringa leaves ada turns crispy.
- Continue the process for the remaining balls.
- Serve hot with any chutney of your choice.
