Pazham Panchara Ada is an easy Kerala sweet made with ripe bananas sautéed in ghee and sugar, then wrapped in a soft batter and cooked like pancakes. This is an easy homemade banana sugar ada recipe with simple ingredients and step-by-step instructions.

Ingredients for Pazham Panchara Ada (Banana – Sugar Ada):
- Ghee – 2 big spoons
- Banana – 2, chopped into small pieces
- Sugar – 4 big spoons
- Cardamom powder – 1 small spoon
- Maida – 100 gms
Milk – 150 milli
Sugar – 5 small spoons
Eggs – 2
Refined oil – 2 small spoons
How to prepare Pazham Panchara Ada (Banana – Sugar Ada)?
- Heat the ghee in a pan, and sauté the banana pieces for two minutes.
- Sprinkle sugar on its top.
- When sugar melts, changes brown, and fully sticks to the banana, turn off the flame.
- Mix ingredients no: 5 and prepare the batter.
- Heat a non-stick pan, pour the batter, and prepare pancakes.
- Place a little filling in the centre of the pancake and fold it into a samosa shape.
- Flip both sides and cook well.
- Continue the process for the remaining batter and filling.
