Teja Sajja – Telugu child actor turned hero who played Rocky in ‘Oh! Baby’

Teja Sajja is a popular young actor associated with Telugu cinema. He has played numerous child roles on Telugu screen since 1998, and turned an adult actor in 2019 fantasy-comedy movie, ‘Oh! Baby’. He played the pivot role of musician Rocky, Savitri’s grandson and his role was well appreciated. As a child artist he did famous roles in Choodalani Vundi, Rajakumarudu, Yuvaraju, Tagore, Samba, Ottesi Cheputunna, Leelamahal Center, Indra, Balu etc.

Teja Sajja was born in 1995. As a child he started his career with Choodalani Vundi (1998) playing Ramakrishna’s son. For the next one decade or so, he did numerous child roles on screen, and most of them were popular. He took a short break in 2006 and concentrated on his studies. Later he returned back in a bang with 2019 comedy film ‘Oh! Baby’, playing the popular role of Samantha/Lakshmi’s grandson. There are speculations that he will be launched as a lead hero soon. He appeared in a short film Dialogue In The Dark, which also helped him to remain in limelight.

1. He appeared in more than a dozen of Telugu movies as a child artist. He remained one of the most sought child artists of first half of 2000s.

2. In 2013 after the drowned death of the child actor Teja Narla surfaced the net, his name was confused with Teja Sajja, as both have done child actor roles in Telugu cinema during the same time period. Media even published photographs of Teja Sajja, which added the confusions.
